The ceremony brought together students, faculty, and dignitaries to celebrate academic achievements and mark the transition of graduates into their professional careers and future aspirations.

Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering marked its 26th Graduation Day, with 959 students receiving degrees across undergraduate, postgraduate, and management programs at a ceremony attended by faculty, dignitaries, and families.
Chief guests at the event included TS Tirumurti, former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, and Ram C Sekar, co-founder of Canfan Private Limited.

Senior leadership from SSN Institutions and the Shiv Nadar Foundation, along with Principal Dr Radha S, were also present.
Of the graduating cohort, 221 undergraduate students secured First Class with Distinction, while 728 earned First Class. Department rank holders were recognized with gold and silver medals for their academic performance.
Degrees were awarded across disciplines, including MBA, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
Addressing the graduates, Tirumurti said, “As you graduate from SSN College of Engineering, you step into an India that is confident, fast-growing, and powered by a dynamic digital ecosystem and into a world shaped by uncertainty and shifting geopolitics.”
“In this environment, success will demand not just technical excellence but also continuous learning, adaptability, and global awareness. Technology today is deeply intertwined with national security, economic progress, and global power dynamics, making it imperative for young engineers to stay informed and agile,” Tirumurti added.
“As you pursue your ambitions, remain grounded in the values instilled by your parents and teachers, and use your knowledge to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building,” Tirumurti said.
Highlighting student outcomes, Principal Radha said, “I am proud to share that our students have once again excelled, with the 2026 batch achieving remarkable success in campus placements, including 227 super dream offers, 143 dream offers, and several high-value opportunities, with top packages going up to ₹59 lakh per annum.”
“The top 50 students secured an average package of ₹31.5 LPA, reflecting their hard work, skills, and dedication. In addition, 581 scholarships worth ₹5 crore have been awarded this year to meritorious and deserving students. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates who will be receiving their degree certificates and medals, and I am sure these graduates will make us proud by their impact on society,” Radha added.
The ceremony concluded with graduating students taking an oath on professional ethics and social responsibility, followed by the national anthem.
Placement data for the 2025 batch showed the highest package at ₹59 lakh per annum. The average CTC for the top 20% stood at ₹18.9 LPA, while the overall average was ₹11.6 LPA, with over 200 students securing offers above ₹10 LPA.
Recruiters included Google, D.E. Shaw, PayPal, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, Citi, Barclays, Fidelity, Caterpillar, Daimler, Ashok Leyland, Verizon, and Comcast, among others.
For the 2026 batch, placements are ongoing. So far, 6 students have secured offers of ₹59 LPA from DE Shaw, while 18 students have received internship offers from Amazon with full-time conversion packages of ₹47 LPA. The current average CTC for the top 20% stands at ₹25 LPA.
