The Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC GD Constable Result 2026, shortlisting eligible candidates for the next recruitment stage. Candidates can check their roll numbers online.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the SSC GD Constable Result 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Constable (General Duty) examination can check their qualifying status through the result PDFs available on the commission’s official website, ssc.gov.in.
The result relates to recruitment for Constable (GD) posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (GD) posts in Assam Rifles. The computer-based examination was conducted from April 27 to May 30, 2026, according to published examination updates.

Candidates shortlisted in the computer-based examination will be eligible to proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), subject to the recruitment rules and conditions specified by SSC. The result announcement was reported on October 12–13, 2026.
According to published result coverage, a total of 1,97,033 candidates qualified for the PET/PST stage. This includes 15,782 female candidates and 1,81,251 male candidates across the reported categories and recruitment groups.
The result is available in PDF format, allowing candidates to search the lists for their roll numbers. Separate lists are provided for shortlisted male and female candidates, alongside relevant lists for candidates whose results have been withheld or who have been debarred.
Candidates should read the official result notice and accompanying write-up carefully to confirm their status and understand the applicable cut-off marks.
Candidates can follow these steps to check their results:
Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
Open the Results section on the homepage.
Select the relevant Constable (GD) examination result for 2026.
Open the appropriate result PDF for male or female candidates.
Download the PDF and open it on your computer or mobile device.
Use the search function or press Ctrl + F on a computer.
Enter your examination roll number to check whether it appears in the merit list.
Read the result write-up for category-wise cut-offs and instructions for the next stage.
Candidates should rely on the result PDFs published by SSC rather than unofficial lists circulated on social media.
Candidates shortlisted through the computer-based examination must complete the subsequent stages of recruitment. These include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), followed by the applicable medical examination and document verification stages under the recruitment process.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is responsible for coordinating the physical-test stage as the nodal force. Candidates should monitor the official recruitment website and SSC announcements for information about PET/PST schedules, admit cards and further instructions.
Important: Qualifying in the computer-based examination does not guarantee final appointment. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements and qualify in the remaining stages of recruitment.
Candidates should check the official result write-up for the applicable category-wise cut-off marks. The qualifying cut-off for shortlisting may vary according to category, examination performance and other recruitment criteria.
The result PDF should not be confused with the individual scorecard. According to published updates, SSC is expected to make the final answer key, question papers with response sheets and individual marks available separately through its official website. Candidates should check the latest SSC notice for the confirmed release date and access instructions.
Applicants are advised to keep their registration details and login credentials available when checking individual marks or other candidate-specific information.
