The IIRF university ranking 2024 shows notable changes in the deemed university (medicine and health sciences) category.
In 2024, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth in Pillaiyarkuppam, Puducherry, entered the top 10, securing the highest position. In order to reach rank two, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in Pune, Maharashtra, moved up five spots. On the other hand, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, moved up one spot to third place.
The Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, ILBS, New Delhi, fell three spots each to take fourth and fifth place, respectively.
