The initiative includes yoga sessions, play-based learning kits, sports activities, and ICT-driven awareness programs aimed at building emotional resilience and reducing examination-related anxiety in government schools.

The Rajasthan Education Department has rolled out new measures in government schools to address rising concerns over exam stress and student anxiety.
The initiative is aimed at creating a safe and emotionally supportive school atmosphere where students can develop confidence and resilience alongside academic skills, officials said.

School Education Secretary Krishna Kunal said the department is focusing on holistic development by introducing structured activities that enable students to cope with pressure and express emotions constructively.
As part of the effort, schools are conducting yoga sessions, incorporating gratitude exercises into classroom routines, and using interactive teaching methods to help students remain calm and attentive, particularly during examination periods.
The department has also introduced Jaadui Pitara, a play-based learning kit intended to strengthen cognitive, language, and social abilities among younger students. Through stories, games, and creative tasks, children are encouraged to communicate openly and engage positively with classmates.
Officials said the approach promotes learning in a low-stress environment while reinforcing emotional well-being from the early years.
For senior students, schools are organizing camps, sports programs, and motivational sessions to provide healthy outlets for emotional expression.
Information and Communication Technology labs and smart televisions are being used to display content focused on mental health awareness and stress management strategies.
According to the department, preliminary feedback indicates that students are showing greater confidence and a more constructive outlook toward examinations.
Authorities said the department plans to broaden these efforts in the coming months to ensure students are better prepared to manage academic demands without compromising their emotional health.
