The scholarships cover master’s, PhD, PharmD, and diploma programs, offering full tuition waivers, housing, airfare, and study support to international and domestic students across multiple academic disciplines worldwide.

Qatar University has begun accepting applications for its fully funded graduate scholarships for the 2026 academic year, offering a major opportunity for students seeking advanced education in the Middle East.
The scholarships are open to both international and domestic applicants and cover a wide range of programs, including master’s degrees, doctoral studies, PharmD courses, and postgraduate diplomas.

The initiative is designed to support higher education and research by removing financial constraints for eligible students.
Eligibility for the scholarships extends to applicants of all nationalities. Candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s or graduate degree from an accredited institution.
PhD applicants are generally required to have a master’s degree or higher with a minimum GPA of around 3.0 or its equivalent, although exact criteria vary by program.
Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. Some programs may also require standardized test scores such as the GRE or GMAT.
Successful candidates will receive comprehensive financial support for the duration of their studies.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees, provides free on-campus accommodation, exempts students from textbook costs, and includes an annual round-trip airfare to the student’s home country.
The funding structure is intended to allow scholars to focus fully on academic and research work without financial pressure.
The scholarships cover a broad selection of academic fields. Master’s programs are available in areas such as accounting, business, law, environmental sciences, education, and public health.
PhD opportunities span disciplines including engineering, biological and environmental sciences, medicine, and pharmaceutical sciences. PharmD programs and postgraduate diplomas are also included.
Courses are offered through several colleges, including Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Sharia and Islamic Studies, and Health Sciences.
Applicants are required to apply through the official Qatar University scholarship portal at https://scholarshipforphd.com/qu-scholarship/.
Candidates should review program-specific requirements and deadlines, prepare necessary documents such as academic transcripts, test scores, personal statements, and letters of recommendation, and complete the online application process.

All documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format, and the application fee must be paid. The final deadline for submission is Feb 25, 2026.
Applications will be evaluated based on academic merit, and some programs may include interviews as part of the selection process. Selected candidates will receive formal admission offers along with detailed scholarship information.
Through the 2026 scholarship program, Qatar University aims to attract high-achieving students from around the world, promote international academic exchange, and strengthen research excellence across disciplines.
