The agency said the results will be calculated using this final answer key, and the better score obtained by candidates across Session 1 and Session 2 will be used to prepare the final rank list.

JEE Main Session 2 was conducted from April 2 to April 8 across 566 examination centers in 304 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

The provisional answer key had been released on April 11, followed by an objection window during which candidates could raise challenges by paying ₹200 per question.

Over 11 lakh candidates appeared for the April session. The first session of JEE Main 2026 was held between Jan 21 and Jan 29, with results declared on Feb 16.

The scorecard will include subject-wise percentile scores, overall NTA score, All India Rank, category rank, and eligibility status for JEE Advanced 2026. For candidates who appeared in both sessions, the best percentile score will be considered for ranking.

Early estimates indicate that the qualifying cutoff for the general category may range between 93 and 94 percentile, while OBC-NCL and EWS categories could see cutoffs between 79 and 82 percentile. Final cutoff details for JEE Advanced will be announced along with the results.

To download the final answer key, candidates need to log in to the official portal using their application number and password, navigate to the announcement section, and open the link to view and save the document.
