NTA issues UGC NET June 2026 exam city slip; check allotted test city online

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the advance city intimation slip for the UGC NET June 2026 examination, enabling candidates to check the city where their test center has been allotted ahead of the exam dates.

Candidates can access the city intimation slip through the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their application number and password.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination will take place at centers nationwide on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30.

In an official notice, the NTA said, "The candidates are required to check/download their Examination City Intimation Slip for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination (using the login credentials) from the website ugcnet.nta.nic.in, w.e.f. 10 June 2026."

The agency emphasized that the city intimation slip should not be treated as an admit card. It has been released solely to inform candidates about the city in which their examination center will be located so they can make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.

"Candidates may please note that this is not the admit card for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. This is advance information for the allotment of the city where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates," the notice stated.

The NTA added that admit cards for the examination will be released separately at a later stage.

• Log in and submit the required details.
