Due to a technical issue, JEE Main exams for candidates at Bengaluru’s e-Talent center have been rescheduled to Jan 28 or 29 with fresh admit cards issued.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1 exams from Jan 22 to Jan 30.
Paper 1 exams will take place on Jan 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, while Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) is scheduled for Jan 30.
Candidates are required to complete pre-exam formalities, including mandatory frisking, before entering the exam hall.
It is crucial that candidates arrive at the venue by the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards, as no late entries will be allowed once the gates close.
Candidates should bring only the permitted items to the exam hall, including the admit card (printed on A4-size paper, preferably in color), a photograph identical to the one used in the application form, a valid photo ID, and any other prescribed documents.
They are also advised to make arrangements for the safekeeping of personal belongings, as not all exam centers may offer this facility.
The JEE Main Paper 1 will be conducted in two shifts—9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm—while Paper 2 will be held in a single shift from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
NTA has already released admit cards for candidates appearing on Jan 22, 23, and 24.
Additionally, the agency has rescheduled the JEE Main exam for certain candidates at a center in Karnataka due to a technical issue.
Candidates at the e-Talent Centre (TC Code-40086) in Bengaluru, who were scheduled for the exam on Jan 22, Shift 1, will now take the exam on Jan 28 or 29, 2025.
Affected candidates will receive fresh admit cards.
"Due to unavoidable reasons of a technical snag in the examination center—eTalent (TC code- 40086), No. 3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya, Bengaluru, Karnataka—during the conduct of the JEE (Main)-2025 Session-I (Shift-I) Examination on 22 January 2025, the examination for 114 affected candidates is rescheduled and will be conducted on 28/29 January 2025. These candidates will be issued with fresh admit cards along with other candidates scheduled to appear on the above mentioned dates,” reads the official notice.
Furthermore, the exam center in Sharjah, UAE (Centre No. ZZ1401) has also been changed.
