Candidates who have already downloaded the revised hall ticket need not obtain it again, while those yet to do so must verify updated exam center details before test day.

NTA has clarified that candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on June 21 do not need to re-download their admit cards if they have already obtained the revised version issued for the test.
In an official statement posted on its social media platform, the agency said that the SMS, email, and WhatsApp messages currently being sent are mainly intended for candidates who have not yet downloaded their revised admit cards.

"The SMS, email and WhatsApp messages currently being sent to candidates are primarily intended for those students who have not yet downloaded their revised admit cards," NTA said.
The clarification comes after candidates reported confusion over multiple notifications related to the admit card release process.
According to the agency, students who have already downloaded and printed the revised admit card for the June 21 examination can continue to use the same document and are not required to take any further steps.
NTA also emphasized that admit cards issued for the May 3 examination will not be accepted for the June 21 re-test.
The agency explained that several candidates have been assigned new examination centers, including locations in their preferred cities, making the issuance of fresh admit cards necessary.
Candidates have been asked to verify all information on the revised admit card before the examination.
This includes checking details such as name, roll number, reporting time, and the address of the allotted examination center.
The agency further instructed students to carry a printed copy of the revised admit card along with a valid photo ID on the examination day.
Reiterating its advisory, NTA said that downloading and printing the June 21 admit card once is sufficient. Candidates have been urged to rely only on official communications and regularly visit the official website for updates related to NEET UG 2026.
