NTA has released city intimation slips, issued scribe-related instructions for eligible candidates, and strengthened security protocols to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the test.

Several state governments have announced free transportation facilities for candidates appearing in the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026, scheduled to be held on June 21, while the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued key updates on city intimation slips, scribe registration, and exam day security measures.
The initiatives are aimed at easing travel-related concerns for students and ensuring the smooth conduct of the re-examination.

Bihar has permitted candidates to travel free of cost on state-run buses on the day of the examination. Odisha has also introduced free bus services for students traveling to their examination centers across the state.
Uttarakhand has announced similar transportation support for candidates, while Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab have also rolled out free bus services to help students reach their centers on time.
Meanwhile, NTA has released the city intimation slips for the re-examination and advised candidates to download them well in advance and make necessary travel arrangements.
The agency has also reminded Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates to submit their scribe details according to the prescribed guidelines before the examination.
Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official NTA website for the latest announcements and examination-related updates.
To ensure the fair and transparent conduct of the examination, NTA has strengthened monitoring and security protocols for the June 21 test.
The agency has also put in place special arrangements for the secure transportation and handling of question papers as part of the enhanced security framework.
