Dr Manali Kshirsagar, Nagpur University alumna and experienced academic, outlines plans to introduce technology-focused courses and enhance student employability during her five-year tenure as Vice-Chancellor.

Dr Manali Kshirsagar assumed charge as the first full-time woman Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University on Dec 3, outlining her plans to prioritize technology-focused courses.
She succeeded acting Vice-Chancellor Dr Madhavi Chavare.

Kshirsagar, 54, an alumna of the university, holds a PhD in computer science and an MBA in finance and marketing.

She is currently serving as director-technical and adviser at Nagpur’s Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering.
The governor’s order states that her tenure as Vice-Chancellor will be for five years.
At a press conference, Kshirsagar said she would focus on launching innovative technology-based courses aimed at enhancing students’ employability.
