A security guard was injured after unidentified men allegedly attacked educator Khan Sir's coaching centre in Patna. Police are examining CCTV footage while investigating possible rivalry-linked motives.

A security guard was injured after unidentified men allegedly attacked the coaching institute run by popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir in Patna, prompting a police investigation into the incident and its possible links to rivalry within the city's highly competitive coaching sector.
The incident took place near Khan Sir's coaching centre in the Musallahpur Haat area, one of Patna's major education hubs. According to reports, a group of men entered the premises, assaulted a security guard and later fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation and are examining CCTV footage to identify those involved.

Khan Sir, whose real name is Faisal Khan, alleged that rival coaching operators could be behind the attack. Speaking after the incident, he suggested that some institutions were unhappy with his efforts to provide affordable education to students from economically weaker backgrounds.
"Poor students also have the right to study," Khan Sir was quoted as saying while alleging that competition within the coaching industry may have played a role in the attack.
Police, however, have not confirmed any motive so far. Officials said all angles are being investigated, including possible rivalry between coaching institutes and other personal or local disputes. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed and statements are being recorded from witnesses.
The incident triggered concern among students, with crowds gathering outside the coaching centre on Wednesday morning. Additional police personnel were deployed in the area as students protested and demanded action against those responsible.
Media reports said several rounds of firing were heard outside the institute during the incident, creating panic in the locality. Police are working to establish the sequence of events and determine whether the attack was planned.
The attack has once again drawn attention to the intense competition among coaching institutes in Patna, a city that attracts thousands of aspirants preparing for government recruitment and competitive examinations every year. Authorities have not announced any arrests so far, and the investigation remains ongoing.
