The partnership will focus on artificial intelligence in healthcare, smart city development, advanced materials, language learning technologies, and drone applications for agriculture and disaster response across India and Vietnam.
The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has entered into a partnership with Vietnam National University through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening joint academic and research initiatives.
The collaboration will open opportunities for faculty, researchers, and students from both institutions to engage in knowledge exchange, scientific development, and innovation.
According to the agreement, the focus areas include the use of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis and hospital applications customized for Vietnam, AI-based education and research with an emphasis on language learning tools, and the application of advanced AI methods for detecting infrastructure defects.
Other areas of cooperation involve smart city development, material prediction with special emphasis on carbon-carbon materials, as well as drone technology for disaster rescue operations and boosting agricultural output.
