The five-month online program offered through IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme aims to equip professionals with skills in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, regulation, and business building across India.

IIT Delhi has opened applications for a new Executive course in Healthcare Entrepreneurship and Management, aimed at training professionals to lead ventures in India’s rapidly evolving healthcare sector.
The program will be offered through the institute’s Continuing Education Programme, a statutory body of IIT Delhi.

According to the institute, the course has been designed to prepare leaders for emerging opportunities driven by digital health adoption, medical device innovation, AI-based diagnostics, and wearable technologies.
The five-month program will be delivered through live online sessions held on weekends, along with dedicated project work. It is targeted at working professionals seeking to build or scale healthcare-focused enterprises.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and have prior work experience or project-based exposure. On completion, participants will receive an e-certificate from CEP, IIT Delhi. The program fee is ₹130,000 plus GST.
The curriculum covers identifying gaps in healthcare delivery using data, empathy, and clinical insight; applying design thinking to develop relevant products and services; and prototyping through 3D printing, digital tools, wireframing, and medical app development.
Participants will also learn testing methods, including usability evaluation and simulated market testing, along with regulatory requirements, intellectual property frameworks, and quality standards.
Additional modules focus on branding, pricing strategies, sales planning, distribution models, business model creation, funding pathways, and scaling healthcare ventures.
