IIM Rohtak has concluded its 13th batch placement season of its flagship 2-year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) on a high note, with MBA students securing the highest-ever average salary. The announcement was made by Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director of IIM Rohtak, who highlighted the participation of both loyal recruiters and new companies, reflecting the confidence in the talent pool of the institute.
With an average salary of 19.27 LPA, marking a 3% increase from the previous year, IIM Rohtak's placement season witnessed remarkable success. The top 10% of the batch received an impressive average salary of 37.25 LPA, showcasing the caliber of students. Prof. Koustab Ghosh, Dean of IIM Rohtak, emphasized the institute's reputation as a top B School with exceptional return on investment, owing to its comparatively low programme fee within the IIM system.
This year, IIM Rohtak expanded its network with over 200 companies, including more than 70 new recruiters such as Airtel Payments Bank, Bloomberg, and Maruti Suzuki, alongside loyal recruiters like Adobe, Amazon, and Tata Steel. Sales and marketing emerged as the most preferred domain, constituting 30% of the offers, followed by General Management & HR at 27%, showcasing the diverse career opportunities available to students.
Established over a decade ago, IIM Rohtak continues to excel in grooming future business leaders, holding a prominent position among the country's top management institutes. Notably, the institute received AMBA accreditation in 2022, underscoring its commitment to global excellence in management education. With innovative programs and a multidisciplinary approach, IIM Rohtak remains at the forefront of shaping the next generation of managers.
