The new accreditation places the institute among a small group of global business schools recognized for high standards in curriculum quality, teaching practices, student experience, and career outcomes.

IIM Ranchi has added a major milestone to its global expansion efforts by securing accreditation from the Association of MBAs, a recognition considered among the most selective standards in international management education.
With this, the institute joins the small share of business schools worldwide that meet AMBA’s stringent criteria for academic quality and career outcomes.

“This significant achievement makes IIM Ranchi the latest IIM to receive AMBA accreditation, confirming its growing prominence within the country's management education landscape,” the institute said.
AMBA accreditation is granted only after an extensive evaluation of teaching practices, curriculum design, student experience, and the institution’s overall impact on professional advancement.
The recognition is widely viewed as a benchmark for excellence in postgraduate management programs.
