IIM Raipur launches free advanced programmes for entrepreneurs and MSMEs

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, in partnership with the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (ESDP) Division of MSME, has introduced two specialized programmes aimed at boosting entrepreneurial capabilities and scaling up small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Eligible candidates can apply for either the “Advanced E-SDP for New Venture Creation” or the “6-Day Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs.” The application deadline for both programmes is January 12, 2025.

The Advanced E-SDP for New Venture Creation will be conducted from Feb 3 to 7, while the Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs will run from Feb 3 to 8. Both initiatives are fully funded by ESDP, MSME, and require no participation fees.

The offline programmes are open to Indian citizens aged 18 and above holding a graduation degree. IIM Raipur encourages applications from graduates across the country, with a special emphasis on candidates from Chhattisgarh, including those from SC, ST, OBC, Women, and Persons with Disabilities (PH) categories.

Selection will follow ESDP Guidelines, involving a thorough review of applications. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for further discussions, if needed, before final selection announcements.

The Advanced MDP for Business Scale-Up for MSMEs is a six-day intensive programme tailored to assist business owners and managers in overcoming growth challenges. It focuses on strategic expansion, creating scalable business models, and ensuring sustainable enterprise growth.

Key modules include opportunity identification, entrepreneurial marketing, securing business finance, establishing global ventures, and managing family business complexities. The programme promises a clear roadmap for long-term business expansion and effective growth management.
