The two-year program features online and on-campus learning, with core courses, electives across key business domains, and a capstone project aimed at building real-world leadership and strategic skills.
IIM Lucknow has launched a new Blended MBA (bMBA) program specifically designed for professionals and entrepreneurs who want to pursue a management degree without stepping away from their careers.
The two-year program integrates online learning with on-campus sessions, allowing participants to balance work and academics.
Registrations can be completed through the official website at iiml.ac.in/programmes/bmba.
Structured across six terms, the first year will focus on core management subjects, while the second year offers electives in areas such as strategy, finance, marketing, IT systems, operations and supply chain management, and human resources.
These electives are aligned with the institute’s regular postgraduate program. A capstone project will provide participants with real-world application of classroom concepts.
Applications for the program open on July 11 and will close on Aug 18, 2025. Online interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled between Sept 1 and 3, and the course will begin on Sept 25.
According to the institute, "the learning model includes virtual live sessions with periodic on-campus modules."
The in-person sessions at IIM Lucknow will feature interactive lectures, group activities, and software-based exercises to enhance peer learning.
Applicants must be at least 24 years old and have a minimum of three years of full-time professional experience after graduation.
They should have completed at least 15 years of formal education and obtained at least 50% in their undergraduate degree or an equivalent CGPA.
The program is also open to candidates with qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA), or foreign degrees recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The selection process considers academic performance, test scores, work experience, and a final online interview.
The bMBA is designed to build strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and digital skills, while offering exposure to tools and frameworks relevant to modern business challenges.
