The new program aims to equip mid-level professionals with advanced analytical and managerial skills through a mix of online and campus learning, preparing them for AI-driven business environments.

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has introduced a new two-year blended MBA program in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, designed for mid-level professionals working in technology-driven sectors, the institute announced on Nov 6.
Described as the first of its kind in India, the program aims to equip executives with managerial and analytical skills needed to thrive in workplaces increasingly powered by AI tools and data-driven decision-making.

IIM-A Director Bharat Bhasker said, “Analytics and AI are no longer peripheral enablers. They are at the core of how enterprises compete, innovate, and create stakeholder value. This reality has created an urgent need for professionals who can bridge managerial expertise with deep techno-analytical fluency.”
According to the institute, the program will combine online and on-campus learning components. Admissions for the first batch, beginning in 2026, are now open.
The inaugural cohort will have 90 seats, and the total course fee is ₹20 lakh.
Officials added that the program will offer a wide selection of electives tailored to meet the diverse needs of professionals across industries.
