The platform offers free video lectures, mock tests, and multilingual study material; includes AI-powered features; and aims to support students preparing for national exams without reliance on expensive coaching.

The Ministry of Education has partnered with IIT Kanpur to launch the SATHEE app, a free digital platform designed to support students preparing for national-level competitive examinations.
SATHEE, which stands for Self Assessment, Test, and Help for Entrance Exams, offers video lectures and study materials developed by experts from IITs and other leading institutions. The platform also provides multilingual resources at no cost to improve accessibility.

The app was recently featured in the "Real World Impact of AI in Education" Casebook released at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. On the occasion, an AI-enabled version of the platform was also introduced, adding advanced features to enhance exam preparation.
Students can access mock tests, assessments, previous years' question papers, and detailed study material to evaluate their progress and strengthen their preparation.
The initiative aims to support students from economically weaker sections by reducing dependence on costly coaching. With flexible access, learners can study anytime based on their convenience.
Beyond JEE, NEET, and CUET, the app also supports preparation for exams such as CLAT, SSC, RRB, IBPS, and ICAR.
The platform allows students to ask questions and get their doubts resolved. Content is updated regularly in line with changing exam patterns, and the app is designed to be simple and accessible, including for students in rural areas.
