The revised schedule allows candidates to apply, pay fees, and make corrections, with the extended deadline now set for Jan 11, as DRDO prepares to fill 764 technical positions.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation has extended the deadline for online applications for its Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) 11 recruitment, giving candidates additional time to apply.
According to DRDO, the registration window, which was earlier set to close on Jan 1, 2026, will now remain open until Jan 11. Applications can be submitted through the official website, drdo.gov.in.

As per the revised schedule, the last date to pay the application fee is Jan 13, 2026. DRDO has also announced that candidates will be able to make corrections to their application forms between Jan 14 and Jan 16, 2026.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 764 technical posts under CEPTAM 2025. Of these, 561 vacancies are for the Senior Technical Assistant B position. Details regarding vacancies in the Administrative and Allied category are yet to be announced.
For the Senior Technical Assistant B post, candidates are required to hold a BSc in a relevant engineering discipline along with a diploma.
Applicants for the Technician A position must have passed Class 10 or matriculation and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
The age limit for applicants is 18 to 28 years as of Jan 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government rules.

The selection process will involve a written examination, followed by a trade or skill test.
Candidates who clear these stages will be called for document verification and a medical examination. DRDO will publish the final merit list after the completion of all selection stages.
To apply, candidates need to visit drdo.gov.in, access the DRDO CEPTAM link on the homepage, complete the application form, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed fee, and save a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
