Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS 3.0) coincides with Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj and offers the opportunity to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for the first time after its inauguration.

• It is a cultural initiative to celebrate and strengthen the deep historical and cultural connect between Tamil Nadu and Kashi (Varanasi).
• It is an effort to highlight Tamil Nadu’s rich history and culture and also to strengthen the ancient civilizational link with Kashi.
• It is a part of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative to promote integration of India's cultural diversity.
Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS 3. 0) will be happening at the same time as Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. And also, the first time after its inception, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be open to the public.

For the first time Kashi Tamil Sangamam was held in the year 2022 and the second one in 2023.
Sstudents, teachers, writers, farmers, artisans, professionals, entrepreneurs, SHGs and innovation communities came together with approx. 1, 000 delegates from across Tamil Nadu in all these five categories.
In addition, 200 students of Tamil origin belonging to Central Universities were also present at the event.
