• Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) was launched in April 2016 to create a modern and transparent land records system with real time data.
• The central government fully funds it to reduce land disputes, fraud and optimize land use.
• The Government of India will bear 100 per cent of the cost of NAKSHA which is estimated at 194 crore.
• 152 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) spread across 26 states and 3 union territories.

• SVAMITVA Scheme: MoPR is implementing Central Sector Scheme viz. SVAMITVA to provide “Record of Rights” to the village household owners who own houses in inhabited villages.
