International Recognition of India’s Republic Day by US States

Several states in the United States, including Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Nebraska and South Dakota, officially proclaimed 26 January 2026 as the “Republic Day of India,” marking a significant gesture of international recognition for India’s constitutional values and democratic traditions.
