Indian students can apply for the Vice-Chancellor's Meritorious Scholarship Program (VSMSP) 2024 at Deakin University in Australia.
At Deakin's campuses in Victoria, Australia, ten full-fee scholarships of over Rs 6 million each will be available for undergraduate and postgraduate study in any field of study. In 2024, there will be a single scholarship devoted to sports research.
The 'Changing Lives' project is the reason behind the offering of these scholarships. "Each year, Deakin University in Australia offers Indian students who have demonstrated a strong academic record and the ability to have a significant global impact the chance to study there," the university said.

Indian students who meet the requirements for the screening procedure run by the Deakin South Asia office in New Delhi are eligible for the scholarships. Following the completion of the minimal eligibility requirements, candidates will be chosen through a combination of online and in-person panel interviews, referee recommendations, application assessment, and impartial representatives from business and academia.

Academic excellence, a well-rounded profile including accomplishments in extracurricular activities, a dedication to making contributions to society, and English language competency are the main factors considered in the selection process. Students who are interested are urged to study the eligibility requirements and apply as soon as possible by submitting the necessary paperwork to Deakin University.
In addition, Deakin University provides further bursaries and scholarships of up to 25% of the entire tuition cost for students who want to attend its onshore campuses and receive a top-notch education.
