The ₹3 crore scholarship will fund her four-year undergraduate studies at Centre College in the US, covering tuition, accommodation, meals, books, insurance, and travel expenses.

Shreya Kaushik, an 18-year-old student from Siwan, Bihar, has been named the only Indian recipient of this year's Lincoln Scholarship, a highly competitive international undergraduate scholarship program.
The scholarship will provide financial support of nearly ₹3 crore for her four-year undergraduate education at Centre College in Kentucky, United States.

The prestigious scholarship is awarded every year to a small group of exceptional students from around the world, recognizing their academic achievements, leadership abilities, and commitment to serving society. Shreya's selection places her among 10 students globally chosen for the program this year.
The Lincoln Scholarship, established in memory of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, is designed to support talented students who demonstrate strong academic potential and the ability to create meaningful social impact.
The scholarship provides complete funding for an undergraduate degree at Centre College, covering major educational and living expenses.
The financial package includes tuition fees, accommodation, meals, books, study resources, health insurance, travel expenses, and other approved personal costs throughout the four-year course.
According to the scholarship program, candidates are selected through a rigorous process that considers their academic record, leadership qualities, achievements, and potential to contribute to their communities.
Shreya, who originally belongs to Siwan in Bihar, completed her schooling at Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in Aya Nagar, New Delhi.
Her journey toward international recognition began at the age of 13 when she joined Dexterity Global, an organization that works to provide leadership development opportunities and educational support to students from different backgrounds.
During her association with Dexterity Global, Shreya took part in several national and international competitions, leadership programs, and learning initiatives.
These experiences helped her build a strong academic and extracurricular profile, eventually contributing to her selection for the Lincoln Scholarship.
Reflecting on the achievement, Shreya said receiving a scholarship named after Abraham Lincoln was an honor.
She credited the mentorship and training she received for helping her access opportunities beyond her circumstances and expressed her determination to use her education to make a positive contribution to society.
The scholarship will allow Shreya to pursue her undergraduate studies in the US without financial barriers, with the entire cost of her education covered through the program.
This includes classroom expenses, campus accommodation, food, academic materials, medical insurance, travel support, and other approved requirements.
The Lincoln Scholars Program confirmed Shreya's selection and stated that the scholarship would support her throughout the duration of her undergraduate program at Centre College.
Congratulating Shreya, Dexterity Global Founder and CEO Sharad Vivek Sagar said the achievement demonstrates how access to quality mentorship, guidance, and educational opportunities can help talented students from diverse backgrounds reach leading global institutions.
Shreya's selection as the sole Indian scholar among this year's Lincoln Scholarship recipients highlights the growing presence of Indian students in competitive international academic programs and reflects the impact of structured mentorship and educational support.
