Agra DPS student injured in classroom assault, probe underway

A Class 10 student was seriously injured in an alleged assault inside a classroom at DPS Shastripuram in Agra, raising concerns over student safety and school oversight.

According to initial information, a dispute between two students escalated into violence, during which one student repeatedly punched the other in the face.

The injured student sustained multiple dental injuries and a fractured jaw and was later admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

The victim is the son of a famous YouTuber who has accused the school administration of negligence. He alleged that the incident was downplayed and that timely medical assistance was not provided.

Police have registered a complaint at Sikandra police station based on the father’s statement. CCTV footage has been taken into custody, and an investigation is underway.

Officials said preliminary findings indicate a fight between two students, and action will be taken against those responsible.
