Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned that Turkey could take action against Israel, intensifying rhetoric amid escalating tensions in West Asia.
According to reports, Erdogan said Turkey could act against Israel “just as” it had intervened in other regional conflicts, signalling the possibility of a more direct role if the situation worsens.

In his remarks, Erdogan strongly criticised Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of being “blinded by blood and hatred.” The Turkish leadership has also compared Netanyahu to Hitler, further escalating the war of words between the two countries.
The sharp exchange comes amid a broader diplomatic confrontation between Turkey and Israel, with both sides trading accusations over ongoing conflicts in the region.
Israeli leaders have pushed back against Erdogan’s comments, accusing him of inflammatory rhetoric and rejecting the allegations.
The tensions are unfolding alongside wider instability in West Asia, including ongoing conflicts and fragile diplomatic efforts such as US-Iran talks. Analysts note that the escalating rhetoric risks further straining already fragile regional dynamics.
Turkey and Israel have had a historically volatile relationship, with periodic diplomatic crises triggered by developments related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The latest remarks signal a further deterioration in ties, with both countries maintaining sharply opposing positions on the ongoing conflict and regional security issues.
