After accusing Xi, Putin, and Kim of “conspiring” against the US, Trump praised China’s Victory Day parade as “very impressive” and confirmed he maintains “very good” relations with all three leaders.

US President Donald Trump shifted his tone sharply after accusing global leaders of conspiring against America. Speaking after a prominent military parade in Beijing, he described his relationships with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as “very good.”
This marked a striking turnaround from his prior sarcastic comments suggesting a coordinated effort against the United States.

The parade in question commemorated the 80th anniversary of World War II’s end and featured an unprecedented display of military strength in Tiananmen Square. Xi, Putin, and Kim appeared together in a rare show of unity.
Trump called the event “a beautiful ceremony” and “very impressive,” acknowledging its strategic intent: “when they did what they did, I thought it was a beautiful ceremony... they were hoping I was watching, and I was watching.”
Ahead of that, he had posted on Truth Social an overtly sarcastic message: “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.”
Trump also expressed disappointment that President Xi neglected to mention the US in his speech, referencing America’s role during World War II, “I think we helped China very much... I don’t believe that the US was acknowledged for helping China to gain its freedom... I heard President Xi last night, and I think the US should have been mentioned since we helped China very much.”
Later, when asked if he was concerned about a potential axis of China and Russia against the US, Trump stated he wasn't, citing America’s superior military strength, “We have the strongest military in the world, by far. They would never use their military on us. Believe me.”
