The CM said that the Budget emphasizes welfare of youth, women, and farmers, with a strong focus on social justice and empowerment, aligning with the Sanskrit mantra 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukinah', which means happiness for all.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the state's 2025-26 budget on Thursday, emphasizing its alignment with the principle of 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah' (may all be happy) and its commitment to honoring India’s rich Sanatan culture.
He highlighted that the budget focuses on the welfare of youth, women, and farmers, while laying a solid foundation for the state’s future development.

“This budget of 2025-26 embodies the concept of 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah,' dedicated to India’s Sanatan culture. It aims to uplift youth, women, and farmers, with a vision inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's focus on the welfare of deprived sections of society,” said CM Adityanath.
“Marking a glorious 75-year journey, this budget is a crucial step, laying out a roadmap for the state’s future and outlining plans for the next 25 years,” he added.
The CM also announced plans to build a memorial and cultural center in Lucknow to honor B R Ambedkar’s pivotal role in drafting the Constitution.
“On this occasion, I humbly pay my respects to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. In his name, our double-engine government is establishing the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial and Cultural Center in Lucknow,” he said.
“This center will serve as a beacon to promote the principles of prioritizing the deprived, as laid out in the Constitution," he added.
According to the CM, the new center will be Uttar Pradesh's main hub for advancing Ambedkar's philosophy and upholding constitutional values.
He further emphasized that these ideals are incorporated into the 2025-26 budget, which focuses on social justice and empowerment while laying the groundwork for the state's growth.
