On Monday, the Delhi High Court dismissed a plea by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, which requested the jail authorities to provide insulin and permit daily video consultations for his diabetes management.

The Supreme Court will resume its hearing on Arvind Kejriwal’s petition against his arrest by the ED, after questioning on Monday why Kejriwal had not responded to the ED’s summons. Amidst the election campaign and Kejriwal’s arrest, AAP MP Raghav Chadha is in the UK due to a serious eye condition, as reported by Saurabh Bharadwaj.
In the meantime, the Aam Aadmi Party confirmed on Monday that Sunita, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, has been granted permission to visit him in Tihar jail. The AAP also organized a ‘Walk for Kejriwal’ walkathon to show support for the Delhi Chief Minister.

Sunita Kejriwal will lead the AAP’s Lok Sabha campaign in the capital and other states in her husband’s absence. Delhi Minister Atishi, in a press conference, stated that Sunita will be seeking votes and blessings for the AAP. “In response to Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, his wife Sunita Kejriwal will campaign to garner support for him and to solicit votes for AAP candidates. She will seek blessings for him from the residents of Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, and Haryana,” Atishi elaborated.
