The meeting was graced by the presence of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and other high-ranking officials who provided an extensive briefing on the prevailing security scenario in the region.
Sources from the Government of India reported that Prime Minister Modi was apprised of the ongoing counter-terrorism initiatives.
He was informed about the strategies and operations in place to deter terrorist activities and ensure the safety of the region.
During the meeting, PM Modi stressed the need for utilizing all of India's counter-terror resources.
He urged officials to employ all possible strategies and resources to fight terrorism, highlighting the need for a strong and coordinated response to potential threats.
In addition to this review meeting, PM Modi had discussions with Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the deployment of security forces and the current counter-terror operations.

Kathua Terror Attack: While details of the attack are limited, it has added to the heightened alert status in the region.
Doda Terror Attack: A constable from the Special Operations Group (SOG) was injured during a confrontation with terrorists in the Doda district, as per the Jammu and Kashmir police.
