The post published by Professor @_consecutive, identified the slain soldier as Chaudhry Ismail Gujjar from Punjab, Pakistan. Former J&K police DGP SP Vaid claimed that Pakistan Army regulars and SSG commandos, who have infiltrated into the region in recent past are actively seeking opportunities to unleash terror attacks on security forces.

One among three terrorists killed in a recent encounter with the Indian Army in Jammu’s Akhnoor area was a Pakistan Army soldier and to hide the reality the Pakistan Army announced his death as a "sniper fire case on the Line of Control”, a post on X supported by a few pre and post-encounter pictures purportedly of the slain soldier claimed.
According to the post, one of the terrorists killed was indeed a Pakistan Army soldier.

Meanwhile, the former director general of Jammu and Kashmir police SP Vaid mentioned that Pakistan Army regulars and SSG commandos have infiltrated into Indian territory recently, aiming to launch terror attacks on Indian forces.
The post by @_consecutive identified the deceased soldier as Chaudhry Ismail Gujjar from Chatta village in Dina Tehsil, Punjab, Pakistan.
The post read, “Pakistan now pushing their regular Army soldiers in J&K yet we keep being silent!”
It included images of the soldier in army combat gear (while alive) and a bloodied green tracksuit after his death, purportedly post-encounter.

The Indian Army, in a statement on Oct 30, reported that the three terrorists killed in the encounter were members of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) group and had recently infiltrated from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The army did not disclose the identities of the attackers killed in the prolonged gunfight.
According to news agency PTI, the gunfight began on Oct 28, when three local teenagers visiting the Shiv Mandir Assan in Battal encountered the armed terrorists dressed in combat gear.
When asked if they were military personnel, the terrorists responded aggressively, threatening the boys with serious consequences if they exposed their presence. The terrorists followed the boys until they reached a main road.
Another post by @_consecutive, possibly copied from a Pakistan Army handle, described Gujjar as "defending the motherland" and claimed that he "drank the cup of martyrdom" while fighting against the Indian Army on the Kashmir border.
The post mentioned that Gujjar's funeral, with full military honors, would be held on Oct 31 at his native village in Chatta Tehsil Dina, UC Ghar Mahal Baghan.
This post included two headshots of Gujjar, one in military combat gear, evoking strong condemnations against Pakistan on X. One user commented, “Sniper doesn’t fire so many shots at any target; he finishes the job in one or max in two shots.”
Security experts noted that Pakistan SSG commandos and regular army soldiers are making deliberate attempts to escalate conflict with Indian forces.
Responding to a question about X post vehemently claiming the killing of Pakistan army regular in Akhnoor gunfight, SP Vaid told Education Post, “Pakistan Army regular soldiers and SSG commandos have infiltrated into J&K to intensify attacks against Indian security forces.”

He added that, although their numbers may vary, these infiltrators are actively hiding in Kashmir and Jammu, seeking opportunities to strike.
Ajai Sahni, a counter-terrorism expert and executive director of the South Asia Terrorism Portal in New Delhi, however, viewed it as a possible one-off incident.
He argued, “Even if true, it does not necessarily indicate a pattern of Pakistan Army soldiers infiltrating to wage war against Indian forces in J&K.”
He added, “Unless more instances or evidence prove Pakistan Army soldiers are engaging in conflict, the claim remains unsubstantiated.”
