New Delhi: IT and Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Tuesday that Google has consented to reinstate the Indian apps that were taken down from its Play Store and will collaborate on resolving the disputed payment issue.
Vaishnaw said that Google and startups had several talks with the government on Monday, after which the tech giant agreed to bring back the removed apps.
"We are confident that Google and the startup community will find a long-term solution in the next few months," said Vaishnaw.
