The collaboration will bring NOS-aligned technology courses, Nasscom certifications and potential government learner incentives to eligible students through the FutureSkills Prime platform.

Education company PhysicsWallah (PW) has announced a partnership with Nasscom to expand access to industry-aligned technology training through FutureSkills Prime, a digital skilling initiative jointly developed by Nasscom and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
The collaboration aims to connect technology education with industry-recognised skill standards, offering learners structured training pathways, assessment-based certifications and opportunities to earn academic credits where applicable.

Under the arrangement, technology courses offered through PW's upskilling divisions, PW Skills and Earners, will be aligned with National Occupational Standards (NOS) and listed on the FutureSkills Prime portal, subject to the programme's applicable requirements.
The partnership is intended to make eligible PhysicsWallah technology courses available through the FutureSkills Prime ecosystem. Course alignment with recognised occupational standards is designed to help learners develop skills relevant to industry requirements.
Eligible students who complete the prescribed coursework and assessments may qualify for Nasscom certification through FutureSkills Prime, in addition to receiving a completion certificate from PW.
The availability of academic credits will depend on the applicable qualification and credit framework, as well as the eligibility of individual courses. The partnership is also expected to create opportunities for higher education institutions to incorporate industry-oriented technology training into their academic offerings.
According to the partnership announcement, eligible learners may be entitled to government incentives of up to ₹5,000 or 50% of the course fee, whichever is lower.
The benefit is subject to the applicable government scheme rules, eligibility criteria and assessment verification. Students should check the official FutureSkills Prime portal for the latest terms and conditions before enrolling or claiming an incentive.
The proposed arrangement is intended to make recognised technology training more accessible while encouraging learners to complete courses and assessments aligned with industry standards.
Satish Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer at PhysicsWallah, said the rapid pace of technological change has increased the need for practical, employment-oriented skills alongside formal education.
He said the partnership with Nasscom and the FutureSkills Prime platform would help PW learners access government-supported and industry-recognised training opportunities. Sharma also highlighted the potential benefits of academic credit recognition and practical learning in preparing students for technology-related careers.
Dr Abhilasha Gaur, CEO of SSC Nasscom, said strengthening India's digital talent ecosystem requires closer coordination between education providers and industry.
She said the collaboration with PhysicsWallah was intended to help bridge the gap between learning and workplace requirements by making future-oriented digital skills more accessible.
The initiative aligns with FutureSkills Prime's broader objective of supporting the development of technology capabilities through industry-aligned courses, recognised certification pathways and emerging technology training.
FutureSkills Prime is a digital skilling initiative jointly supported by MeitY and Nasscom. It provides learning pathways in emerging technology areas, including artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, cybersecurity, blockchain and the Internet of Things.
The platform offers courses and certification pathways aligned with industry requirements, National Occupational Standards and the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), where applicable.
Through partnerships with education providers and industry organisations, the initiative seeks to help students and working professionals upgrade their digital skills and remain relevant in a changing employment landscape.
For learners, the PhysicsWallah collaboration could offer an additional route to technology training and recognised certification. The precise benefits will depend on the courses listed, assessment requirements, credit eligibility and the conditions governing government incentives.
