The partnership aims to expand access to Bollywood blockbusters, classic Hindi films, Tamil cinema, music and devotional programming through LG Channels in India.

NH Studioz has announced a partnership with LG Electronics to introduce five entertainment channels on LG Channels, the company's free, internet-based streaming service for compatible Smart TVs in India. The proposed lineup includes NH BollyFlix, NH BollyGold, NH BollyRaga, NH Tamil Gold and NH Namo, covering Bollywood movies, classic cinema, music, Tamil films and spiritual content.
The initiative aims to combine the familiar experience of traditional television with the convenience of internet-based streaming. Through the Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) model, viewers can access curated programming without a conventional paid subscription, while advertising helps support the service.

Established in 1980, Mumbai-based NH Studioz operates in film distribution, content licensing, acquisition and syndication. The company says its catalogue contains more than 5,000 films across over 15 languages, with a distribution network reaching more than 140 countries and partnerships spanning over 100 platforms.
The LG collaboration is part of the company's broader strategy to distribute Indian entertainment across connected television and digital platforms. NH Studioz has previously expanded its FAST channel presence through services including Samsung TV Plus, Airtel Xstream and RunnTV.
LG Channels, meanwhile, offers free internet-streamed television across entertainment, movies, music, news, devotional programming and other categories. The availability of individual channels may vary depending on the market and compatible television model.
NH BollyFlix is designed for viewers who enjoy relatively recent Hindi cinema, particularly films released from the 2000s onwards.
The channel's featured titles include Pink, October, Kabir Singh and Anjaana Anjaani. Its programming brings together films featuring popular Bollywood actors, including Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
NH BollyGold focuses on memorable films from the golden era of Indian cinema. Its curated selection includes classics such as Sholay, Anand, The Burning Train and Gol Maal.
The channel aims to appeal to audiences who enjoy revisiting iconic performances, storytelling and landmark productions from earlier decades.
NH BollyRaga is dedicated to the musical heritage of Hindi cinema. Its programming highlights memorable film songs, celebrated melodies and the work of influential music composers and singers.
The channel's musical selection includes contributions associated with composer R. D. Burman and legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar, offering viewers a destination for nostalgic Hindi film music.
NH Tamil Gold brings together Tamil-language films featuring established stars and contemporary favourites.
The channel's proposed programming spans films associated with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, alongside titles featuring actors such as Dhanush and Vijay. Its catalogue aims to offer a mix of popular entertainers and performances from different generations of Tamil cinema.
NH Namo focuses on religious, mythological and spiritual entertainment rooted in Indian cultural traditions.
Its featured titles include Ramayan, Shree Ganesha and Om Namah Shivay. The channel is intended for viewers seeking devotional programming and stories drawn from India's mythological heritage.
Shreyans Hirawat, Head – Film Business & Innovation at NH Studioz, said the company wants to make its extensive film library accessible through evolving viewing technologies while retaining the simplicity associated with traditional television.
He described the collaboration with LG as a step towards creating new destinations for audiences to discover Indian entertainment, rather than simply distributing existing content across additional platforms.
Brian Jung, Director, Media Entertainment Solution at LG Electronics India, highlighted the popularity of Bollywood content among Indian audiences and the company's focus on making entertainment accessible to connected-TV users.
LG stated that its Channels service offers more than 150 free channels across movies, entertainment, music and regional content, reflecting its efforts to expand its FAST offering.
The proposed addition of NH Studioz channels would give compatible LG Smart TV users access to genre-specific entertainment through an internet connection, without requiring a separate traditional television subscription for these free channels.
The five-channel lineup covers several viewing preferences, from contemporary Bollywood films and older Hindi classics to Tamil cinema, music and devotional content. Its appeal will depend on channel availability, programming schedules, regional access and the compatibility of individual television models.
