Lincoln Tech and LeadSquared partnership to deploy AI agents in student admissions and enrollment management.

Lincoln Educational Services Corporation, which operates Lincoln Tech, is expanding its longstanding partnership with LeadSquared to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) agents into student admissions and enrollment operations. The initiative will be developed through LeadEdge, LeadSquared’s innovation centre focused on practical AI applications.

The partnership aims to help Lincoln Tech respond to prospective students more efficiently, identify applicants who are ready to progress and reduce delays throughout the enrollment process. The companies also plan to use AI to improve follow-up communication and provide admissions leaders with better visibility into enrollment activity.

According to LeadSquared’s announcement, the first AI agents are being deployed, with plans to extend the initiative to additional stages of the student journey as the programme develops.

AI Agents to Support Key Stages of Student Enrollment

The collaboration will focus on several areas where delays or inconsistent communication can cause prospective students to lose interest or abandon the admissions process.

The planned applications include:

Faster responses to inquiries: Helping admissions teams engage with prospective students promptly after they express interest.

Prospect prioritisation: Identifying and prioritising candidates who appear ready to take the next step.

Application support: Helping improve the accuracy and completeness of application submissions.

Follow-up and re-engagement: Reconnecting with prospective students who have stopped responding or have not progressed through the process.

Enrollment monitoring: Giving institutional leaders greater insight into changes in enrollment activity so they can identify potential issues earlier.

By applying AI across multiple stages, Lincoln Tech and LeadSquared aim to make the journey from the first inquiry to enrollment more consistent and measurable.

The initiative builds on Lincoln Tech’s existing use of LeadSquared for admissions and enrollment management. The companies intend to evaluate the new tools against the institution’s existing operational performance and share results over time.

Human Oversight and Accountability Remain Central

The organisations say responsible AI adoption will be a key part of the deployment. Each AI agent will operate within a defined scope, with established rules governing its actions and audit trails recording its activities.

Human oversight will remain in place for important decisions. The companies also intend to expand the agents’ autonomy only after evaluating their performance and establishing that the approach is effective.

This model is designed to introduce automation into routine admissions workflows while allowing admissions professionals to retain an active role in supporting prospective students.

Lincoln Tech Aims to Improve the Prospective Student Experience

Jay Rasmussen, Senior Vice President of Admissions at Lincoln Tech, said the goal is to make it easier for prospective students to move towards career-oriented education.

He explained that AI could help admissions teams respond more quickly, recognise when applicants need additional assistance and deliver a more consistent experience. He also emphasised that admissions professionals would remain central to relationships with students.

Rasmussen described the partnership as a way to improve student engagement through a responsible and measurable approach, helping more prospective learners progress from their initial inquiry to enrollment.

LeadSquared Sees Opportunity to Bring AI Into Education Operations

Prithwi Dasgupta, President of North America at LeadSquared, said the initiative reflects Lincoln Tech’s commitment to using emerging technologies in support of its students and institutional mission.

He said the collaboration also demonstrates how LeadEdge works with organisations to move AI beyond experimentation and into practical operations, with a focus on measurable outcomes, responsible implementation and human involvement.

The companies expect to build on the initial deployment in the coming months, extending AI support to further parts of the enrollment journey as the programme matures.
