Nottingham Trent University will review applications in three rounds until June 2026, awarding scholarships based on academic performance, leadership potential, and confirmed offers for eligible undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in the UK is offering a fresh round of scholarships for Indian students, with fee reductions of up to 50% for those with strong academic records and the ability to add value to the university community.
The institution has scheduled three application cycles, with deadlines falling on March 25, April 22, and June 24, 2026. Students are advised to submit their applications as early as possible to ensure enough time for visa processing and course planning.

These awards fall under NTU’s Excellence Scholarships, which are highly competitive and strictly merit-driven. To be considered, applicants must already have an offer for an eligible program and must be categorized as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
Candidates must be enrolling in the first year of a new course or entering the second or third year of an undergraduate program through advanced entry for either the January 2026 or September 2026 intake.
Students who began their studies before September 2026 and are moving into later years, or those repeating their first year, are not eligible.
At the undergraduate level, students may receive either a 50% or 25% reduction in tuition fees for the first year, followed by £3,000 annually in subsequent years.
Over the full duration of the program, total support can go up to £15,350 for the 50% award and £10,675 for the 25% award.
For postgraduate programs, scholarship amounts range between £2,000 and £12,500, depending on the course and level of award.
Applicants from India must first secure admission to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program before applying. Selection is based on academic performance, leadership qualities, and overall engagement.
According to the guidelines, students receiving multiple financial awards from NTU will only be granted the higher-value benefit unless they also qualify for a sport scholarship or Alumni discount. In such cases, the combined value must not exceed 50% of the first-year tuition fee.
Scholarship amounts are adjusted against tuition fees at the start of each academic year and are subject to successful completion of each year. The benefit does not apply during placement years but resumes in the final year.
NTU also said that scholarships may be transferred between courses within the same academic school and academic year.
However, recipients of the 50% Excellence Scholarship may have their award reassessed if they switch courses. Transfers across different academic schools or years are not allowed.
More information on scholarships for UK-based students is available on the university’s official website.
