From the very beginning, there have been disputes surrounding the UGC-NET exam 2024.The exam was first administered in pen and paper mode on June 18. But a day later, it was canceled due to intelligence reports suggesting the exam's integrity may have been compromised.

The National Testing Agency's (NTA) legitimacy and operations have once again come under scrutiny due to the delay in the announcement of the UGC- NET 2024 results. Numerous candidates have gone to microblogging platform X to express their dissatisfaction and question the reason for the results' delay.
Microblogging site X (previously Twitter) is swamped with messages of frustration from the candidates over the delay in the declaration of results with a few candidates, questioning if the agency has forgotten to deliver the results.

"I think #NTA has forgotten to announce the result of the #UGC_NET June 2024 cycle. Is there anyone who is responsible for aspirants' queries?" posted Rajesh Patel, a user on his X handle.
Husain M, another user, claimed that even 40 days after taking the examination, candidates are still unaware of the results.
"It's been nearly 40 days since we took the UGC NET re-exam, but we don't know when @mamidala90 will make the results public. Students shouldn't have to bear the whole cost of exam cancellations in order to wait for their results. The June exam was canceled without extensive investigation by @NTA_Exams @ResearchSchola6," he posted.
Similarly, UPSC Readers, another X profile, requested an explanation for the postponement. "First, a baseless cancellation of UGC NET June 2024, now delays in re-exam results @NTA_Exams and @mamidala90 are failing students! @dpradhanbjp, we need accountability!"
"Why no news about results up until now why is @NTA_Exams @mamidala90 kindly give us info about results plz we're in deep pain and agony. Kindly intervene #UGCNETResult2024 #NTADeclareJune2024Result #ugcnetresult @mamidala90," anguished Ramesh Sahu, an X user, wrote.
From the very beginning, there have been disputes surrounding the UGC NET exam 2024.

The exam was first administered in pen and paper mode on June 18. But a day later, it was canceled due to intelligence reports suggesting the exam's integrity may have been compromised.
Later, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan disclosed that the document was shared on Telegram and released on the darknet.
The UGC NET 2024 exam was then conducted by computer-based testing (CBT) from Aug 21 to Sep 5, 2024. In addition, floods forced the cancellation of the exam at several locations; a fresh exam was held a few days later.
