JEE Main-qualified candidates can apply directly as the university expands its portfolio of technology and management programmes aligned with future workforce needs

NIIT University (NU) has opened applications for admission to its undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2026. As the institution marks 15 years of academic excellence, the university continues to position itself as a hub for innovation-driven and interdisciplinary higher education.
Applicants holding a valid JEE Main 2026 score can seek direct admission without appearing for the NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT). These candidates will undergo a faculty-led interaction as part of the selection process. Based on merit and performance, eligible students may also be considered for scholarships covering up to 100 per cent of tuition fees.

For the upcoming intake, NU is offering a range of future-oriented programmes, including BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Cyber Security, Robotics and Automation, and Biotechnology. The university also continues admissions to established programmes such as BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, three-year BBA, BBA in Artificial Intelligence, BBA in Business Analytics, and the five-year Integrated MBA (iMBA), all open to students after Class 12.
Explaining the institution’s admissions philosophy, Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President, NIIT University, said that the selection process evaluates students beyond examination scores, focusing on aptitude, motivation, and readiness for interdisciplinary learning. He noted that faculty interactions play a key role in helping students align their academic choices with long-term aspirations, while merit-based scholarships are designed to support talented learners from diverse backgrounds.
NIIT University reported 100 per cent placements for its latest graduating batch, supported by an industry network of over 830 corporate partners. According to the university, 93 per cent of BTech graduates and 89 per cent of management graduates achieved role fitment aligned with their skills and interests. Recruiters included companies such as GoDaddy, AllState, Policybazaar, Thomson Reuters, GE Appliances, S&P Global, BigBasket, Edelweiss, Mercer | Mettl, and Zebra Technologies, among others.
Located approximately 1.5 hours from Delhi International Airport, NIIT University offers accessibility to students from Delhi NCR while providing a fully residential campus environment focused on experiential and industry-linked learning.
