The new Madrasati-based appointment system will allow parents to schedule school visits in advance, ensuring safer, more organized interactions with staff and reducing unscheduled disruptions in Saudi public schools.

The Ministry of Education has announced the launch of a new digital appointment booking system through the Madrasati platform to better manage and regulate parents’ visits to public schools.
The initiative aims to maintain safety, streamline communication, and ensure smoother coordination between parents and school staff.

Officials said the service will apply to both boys’ and girls’ sections of public schools, with the goal of maintaining order and minimizing disruptions during the school day.
Each visit will be logged in the system, allowing schools to monitor entries and ensure that only authorized visitors access the premises.
“By scheduling visits in advance, schools can create a more secure environment while giving parents the convenience of organized communication,” a ministry spokesperson said.
Once an appointment is confirmed, parents will receive notifications detailing their visit schedule.
The system will also handle entry and exit management to avoid overcrowding and ensure smooth movement within school buildings.
Under the new policy, parents can book appointments on any day of the week, but only one visit per week is permitted.
Each appointment request must clearly state the purpose of the visit, which will be linked to the relevant school official, such as the principal, deputy principal, or counselor.
Parents will also have the option to choose between in-person or virtual meetings. If a parent books one type of appointment, the other will automatically be canceled to prevent duplication.
According to the ministry, the initiative will enhance school efficiency by minimizing unscheduled visits and ensuring staff can focus on meaningful parent interactions.
It also aims to document all visits comprehensively for improved transparency and accountability.

“The appointment system supports a balanced relationship between schools and families, helping teachers focus on learning while keeping parents actively engaged in their child’s education,” the spokesperson added.
Parents can access the booking service directly through the Madrasati platform, where they can select their preferred meeting type, specify the purpose, and confirm their appointment with school authorities.
Officials said the new digital approach represents a step toward modernizing school administration and promoting a safer, more efficient communication process between schools and parents.
