Over 2.8 lakh students appeared for the Punjab Class 12 exams this year; girls outperformed boys, and Barnala’s Harsirat Kaur topped with a perfect 100% score.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) announced the Class 12 board examination results on May 14 at its headquarters in Mohali.
This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 91.34%, with 2,41,506 students successfully clearing the exams out of more than 2.8 lakh who appeared.
The exams were conducted between February 19 and April 4, 2025.
Harsirat Kaur from Barnala secured the top position by scoring 100%.
She was followed by Manvir Kaur from Ferozepur and Arsh from Mansa, both scoring 99.60% and securing the second and third ranks respectively based on tie-breaking rules.
Girls outperformed boys once again, recording a pass percentage of 94.32% compared to 88.08% for boys.
Non-government schools registered the highest pass rate at 92.47%, while government schools had a slightly lower rate of 91.01%.
Last year, in 2024, the overall pass percentage was 93.04%.
Students can check their results by visiting the official website of the Punjab board, pseb.ac.in, entering their roll number and date of birth, and downloading the result for future reference.
