The board advises students, parents, and stakeholders to avoid unverified services for certificates or corrections, stressing that official procedures are available only through its website, regional offices, or other approved channels.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has warned that no external agency or platform is authorized to issue duplicate mark sheets or make changes to student records.
In an advisory issued by its Delhi (East) Regional Office, the Board said some operators are misleading people with promises of quick delivery of duplicate certificates or corrections. CBSE called such claims false and potentially harmful.

"These unofficial platforms have no affiliation with or authorization from CBSE. Depending on them may result in misinformation, financial loss, or other serious consequences," the advisory said.
The Board emphasized that duplicate certificates, corrections, and other student- or exam-related services can be obtained only through its official website (cbse.gov.in), regional offices, or other approved channels.
It also made clear that it will not take responsibility for losses or problems caused by following advice from unverified sources.
CBSE urged the public to rely solely on official announcements and avoid so-called quick solutions, advising anyone unsure of the process to directly check its website or approach a regional office.
