PhysicsWallah and Sunstone launch ‘Samvedna’ to strengthen student mental wellness support

Education technology platforms PhysicsWallah and Sunstone Education Technology Pvt Ltd have partnered to launch a mental wellness initiative called ‘Samvedna,’ aimed at promoting emotional resilience and psychological support among students.

The program seeks to integrate mental wellness into mainstream education, helping students balance academic achievement with emotional well-being.

As part of the collaboration, PhysicsWallah will deploy a team of trained counseling psychologists to conduct one-on-one and group sessions, awareness workshops, and anti-ragging sensitization drives.

The initiative will also feature a dedicated helpline with case management systems and psychiatric intervention for critical situations.

“At Sunstone, we believe employability starts with a healthy mind. ‘Samvedna’ is a structured step towards ensuring that our students receive professional, timely, and compassionate support throughout their academic journey,” said Ashish Munjal, co-founder & CEO of Sunstone.

“At PhysicsWallah, we believe academic progress is related to mental well-being,” said Alakh Pandey, co-founder & CEO of PhysicsWallah.

“Samvedna is a model that will try to combine proactive outreach, professional counseling, and real-time intervention. Together with Sunstone, we are trying to set a standard for student care in education,” Pandey added.

A joint Samvedna Committee, comprising representatives from both organizations, will monitor the program’s implementation, review progress dashboards, and ensure swift escalation of high-risk cases.
