OJEE 2024 Lateral Entry Course Counselling Commences at their website

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has commenced the registration process for OJEE 2024 counselling. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications for counselling on the official website ojee.nic.in.

The counselling registration is now open for the following courses: Lateral Entry (LE) programs - B Parma (LE Pharm for D Pharm candidates) and BTech (LE Tech for diploma candidates).

Applicants are required to provide certain documents for counselling, including JEE Main 2024 or OJEE 2024 rank card, class 10 mark sheet, diploma certificate, valid photo ID, class 12 mark sheet, school or college leaving certificate, nativity or residence certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, and EWS certificate.

Eligibility for lateral entry admission in OJEE 2024

  • Candidates aiming for admission to technical programs should have passed a minimum of 3-year or 2-year (lateral entry) with a minimum qualifying mark of 45 percent for the open category.
  • Candidates from ST and SC categories have a passing mark relaxation of 5 percent, i.e., 40 percent.
  • Candidates aspiring for lateral entry into the BPharma program must hold a diploma in pharmacy (D Pharm).
  • General category candidates must have at least 45 percent marks in their DPharm, while ST and SC candidates must have a minimum of 40 percent marks.

Applicants are urged to ensure they meet these eligibility criteria; failing to do so may result in their admission not being considered.

Reservation criteria for lateral entry counselling in OJEE 2024

  • There is a 5 percent reservation for physically challenged candidates.
  • A provision of 5 percent of TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) seats (Supernumerary) is available for courses in institutions where at least 50 percent of the total seats were "Approved Intake" in the previous academic year.

According to the official brochure, no reservation provision is mentioned for admission in LE BTech programs for Engineering (for Diploma Holders) and LE BTech (for +3 Sc, BSc degree holders. However, there are some vacancies from last year in the EWS category.
