Candidates who appeared for the reconducted medical entrance exam can update banking information to receive refunds, while the NTA has also released scanned OMR response sheets online.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has received bank account details from 1,146,401 candidates, or about 52% of those eligible for a refund of the NEET UG 2026 examination fee, and has started transferring the amount to the accounts submitted by candidates.
To facilitate refunds for the remaining eligible candidates, the agency has extended the deadline for submitting bank account details until 11:50 pm on July 31, 2026. The earlier deadline was July 14.

Candidates who have not yet updated their banking information have been advised to do so within the extended period to ensure timely processing of their refunds.
NEET UG 2026 was originally scheduled for May 3 but was reconducted on June 21 following an alleged paper leak.
Separately, NTA has released the scanned OMR response sheets of candidates who appeared for the reconducted examination on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
The release follows the publication of the provisional answer key, allowing candidates to review their recorded responses before the conclusion of the objection process.
After the objection window closes, NTA is expected to publish the final answer key and declare the results of the reconducted NEET UG 2026 examination by July 20 for more than 20 lakh medical aspirants.
The agency clarified that scanned OMR sheets are not available through public notices or downloadable PDF lists.
Candidates must log in individually to the official NEET portal using their application number and password to access their response sheets.
NTA has advised candidates to verify their login credentials carefully, as incorrect details could delay access to both the OMR sheet and the challenge facility.
