The error at the Imphal exam center led to the cancellation of GS Papers III and IV, with fresh arrangements made to ensure all candidates can take the exams fairly.

The Manipur Public Service Commission has rescheduled two papers of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2022 following a mix-up at one of the exam centers.
Officials confirmed that the postponed papers will now be held on Nov 22.

The error occurred on the morning of Nov 9 at the Imphal center, where candidates scheduled for General Studies Paper-III were mistakenly given the question paper for General Studies Paper-IV.
The mistake was noticed shortly after the session began, causing confusion and concern among the examinees.

To maintain fairness, the Commission decided to cancel both GS Paper-III and Paper-IV for the day.
The exam, which started on Nov 7 and was originally planned to conclude on Nov 9, is being conducted at two centers, Imphal and Guwahati.
Officials said that new arrangements are being made and that candidates will be able to take the postponed papers on the revised date.
