Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is set to announce the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) either at the end of April or the beginning of May. The evaluation process for the Karnataka SSLC results has not yet started, as a KSEAB official informed indianexpress.com while announcing the Class 12 PUC 2 results today. Students who appeared for the class 10 board examinations can check their results on the official websites — kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in.
This year, the SSLC examination of the Karnataka board was conducted between March 25 and April 6. Last year, the Class 10 board exams took place from March 31 to June 19, and the results were announced on May 8. In 2022, the exams were held from March 28 to April 11, and the results were declared on May 19.
Karnataka recorded a pass percentage of 83 per cent in the SSLC examination for the academic year 2022-23, a slight decrease from 85 per cent the previous year. Consistent with every year, female students outperformed male students by achieving a pass percentage of 87 per cent, while male students secured 80 per cent.
In 2023, a total of 8,35,102 students appeared for the exam, and 7,00,619 passed. Chitradurga district topped the pass percentage list in Karnataka by securing 96.8 per cent, followed by Mandya (96.7 per cent) and Hassan (96.6 per cent). The districts with the lowest pass percentages are Yagir (75.49 per cent), Bidar (78.73 per cent), and Bengaluru South (78.95 per cent). Officials stated that the board will investigate the reason for the low pass percentage in the Bengaluru district and implement appropriate interventions.
