JEE Mains Session 2 results declared; score out on jeemain.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results for JEE Main 2024 Session 2, including both Paper I and Paper II, simultaneously. 

The results were declared on Wednesday and the students who participated in the exam can access their results on the official NTA JEE website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. NTA released the final answer key on April 21, 2024.

A total of 56 students scored 100 percentile including Dakshesh Mishra who scored AIR 2. 

Chintu Sateesh Kumar from Andhra Pradesh, Dattaraj Balkrishna Saudagar from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Tanay Jha from Delhi, Parekh Meet Vikrambhai from Gujarat, Sushant Padha from Jammu and Kashmir are among the toppers in the JEE Main 2024, as reported by Mint.

A total of 11,79,569 candidates registered for the second session of the test, of which 10,67,959 appeared in it. 
The total number of JEE Main registrations in both sessions was over 24 lakh — 12,21,624 in session 1 and 12.57 lakh in session 2. 

The JEE Mains Exam 2024 Session 2 was held on April 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 12, 2024. The examination was conducted in319 Cities across the Country (including 22 Cities outside India). 

JEE Main acts as a qualifying examination for JEE Advanced apart from being an important gateway for getting admissions in engineering colleges in India.

In the JEE Main 2024 information bulletin, NTA has mentioned that “the Final Scorecard of JEE (Main) 2024 will be emailed to the candidates' registered email addresses.”

As per the NTA's report on Session 1 results, out of the 23 students who achieved a perfect score, 19 belong to the general category, while four are from the Other Backward Classes (OBC). Two candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and one each from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories secured a remarkable NTA score of 99.99.

The NTA has revealed the cutoff for JEE Advanced, all India rank holders, and state-wise toppers, following the recent release of the final answer key, which omitted four questions.

This year, JEE Main was held in January and April and candidates who appeared in both sessions will have their best score considered for the final merit list.
