CMRL is inviting applications for a one-year postgraduate diploma in Metro Rail Tech and Management at the IIT-Madras
Students who have obtained a BE or BTech degree in civil, electrical, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 70 percent marks and a valid GATE score are eligible to enroll in the program.
Students with a BE or BTech degree in civil, electrical, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics and mechanical engineering with 70 per cent marks and a valid GATE score can register for the programme at careers.chennaimetrorail.org. The last date to register for the programme is June 29.
The initial selection process relies on the authentic GATE score and interview results. Successful candidates will undergo a medical examination before the final selection is confirmed.
Upon final selection, individuals will be appointed as Executive Trainees for a duration of one year, receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000. CMRL will cover the essential sponsorship and tuition fees for pursuing PGDMRTM at IIT M.
Upon successful conclusion of the program, the students will be assigned the role of Assistant Manager on a contractual basis for five years at Chennai Metro Rail Ltd, earning a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 62,000.
